Responsibilities:
- Oversee all aspects of plant operations, including production, quality control, and maintenance.
- Develop and implement strategies to optimize plant efficiency and productivity.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and maintain a safe working environment.
- Manage and coordinate production schedules to meet customer demands.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve processes and resolve operational issues.
- Monitor and analyze key performance indicators to identify areas for improvement.
- Implement lean manufacturing principles to streamline operations and reduce waste.
- Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers and vendors to ensure a reliable supply chain.
- Lead continuous improvement initiatives to enhance plant performance and profitability.
- Provide leadership and guidance to plant staff, including training and development opportunities.
Skills:
- Strong knowledge of systems and operations management in a manufacturing environment.
- Experience with fabricating, assembling, or mechanical processes.
- Proficiency in lean manufacturing principles and practices.
- Solid understanding of supply chain management concepts.
- Ability to analyze data, identify trends, and make data-driven decisions.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with a focus on continuous improvement.
- Strong leadership abilities with the ability to motivate and inspire teams.
- Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
