Complete staffing, training & development, employee relations, performance management, and retention to support diverse workforce needs.
This position is located at our fabrication division in Casa Grande, Arizona and also provides HR support to the Vancouver, Washington location (45 employees total).
Job
Responsibilities:
Talent Acquisition:
Support and influence the hiring process from screening internal and external applicants to the selection of candidates.
Partner with leadership to ensure the knowledge, skills, and abilities required for positions are accurate.
Create and update job descriptions, review career paths, and recommend tactics to improve career growth opportunities for employees.
Training and Development - Provide coaching, advice, and mentorship to leaders or potential leaders to enhance skills so they can more effectively achieve their goals.
Partner with leaders to identify the required skills and experiences needed for job success and career growth.
Identify skills and performance gaps and implement recommended development activities to close gaps and enhance the performance of employees.
Assist in the creation of developing paths for employees and leaders.
Performance Management:
Proactively partner with leadership to address performance gaps and development opportunities to improve performance and retention.
Support and guide leaders with performance management actions including reviews, coaching sessions, corrective counseling, performance improvement plans, and development for performance success.
Communications & Employee Relations:
Maintain an active presence in work areas to support employees and leaders.
Provide information and guidance regarding topics, such as policy administration, hiring processes, benefits, leaves of absence, corrective action, performance coaching, and compliance.
Conduct investigations regarding various performance or policy issues, reporting findings and recommendations to the HR Director.
Office Management:
Oversee administrative support team members and tasks and workers' compensation coordination of care.
Complete tasks in a safe and environmentally compliant manner by following EHS (environmental, health, and safety) policies, procedures, and best practices; support and assist peers in working in a safe, compliant manner; report unsafe acts or conditions, incidents, and deviations; and provide feedback to support continuous improvement in EHS performance.

Education &
Experience:
Minimum high school diploma or equivalent plus HR certification and 7 year's experience in human resources or Minimum Associate degree and 5 years experience in human resources.
Valid driver's license.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
Proficient computer skills including Microsoft Office and HR systems.
Proficient employment law and labor relations knowledge (specific states of Arizona & Washington).
Proficient skills in training, developing, and coaching others.
Proficient organization, problem-solving, analytics, and decision-making skills.
Proficient experience completing investigations.
Proficient knowledge of business acumen.
Environmental Conditions, Physical & Lifting Requirements:
Regularly use a computer and phone.
Regularly works in an office environment.
Regularly required to sit, talk, hear, use repetitive motion with fingers, hands, and wrists.
Occasionally required to stand and walk.
Rarely required to lift up to 5 pounds.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
