4K a year 5 days ago 5 days ago 5 days ago The job of Education Specialist - Library Media is done for the purpose/s of organizing and maintaining the daily operation of the media center; assisting in maintaining library collection at school site by implementing age appropriate programs for students utilizing library resources; selecting appropriate items in support of classroom instruction; and instructing students on the proper use of the library resources.
Essential Functions:
Checks-in, checks-out, and reshelves books and other library materials and audio-visual equipment Conducts classes in a variety of formats; coordinates media requests of individual sites distributes various books and media Instructs students in the proper use of the library resources Maintains library in a neat and orderly fashion Monitors students in library to ensure the safety and welfare of students Monitors the timely return of instructional materials and serves as a liaison with teachers and parents Performs minor repairs on books and audio/visual equipment Processes orders, e.
g.
books, periodicals, films, etc.
Promotes library use related to special holidays, seasonal activities, etc.
Provides support to teachers, students, and other personnel Shares and manages library resources using the District's interlibrary loan process Assists other personnel as may be required.
Requirements:
High School diploma or equivalent Pre-employment proficiency test Criminal Justice fingerprint/background clearance Ability to read, write and communicate clearly in English Experience desired.
This is a 10 month School Year position only.

Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
